Heisler Park in Laguna Beach has plenty to offer with great facilities. Just samplings of activities to see and do at Heisler Park are walking trails, picnic and barbecue areas, tide pools and fantastic vistas. There is even a public art display to browse. There’s plenty of grassy areas at Heisler Park for to lounge around and perhaps have lunch or dinner. There is also a private club at Heisler Park and, if you are a member, you can take advantage of lawn bowling or shuffleboard as well.

Crystal Cove State Park is a park in Laguna Beach, California that has over 3 miles of sandy beaches and over 2,400 acres of woodland areas. This is what makes this Laguna Beach state park a popular destination point for those wishing to hike or go horseback riding. Along with Crystal Cove’s tide pools and sandy coves, the offshore areas are designated as an underwater park making this a very popular place for scuba and skin divers. And if you are into mountain biking, the undeveloped woodlands make a perfect place to ride. Or if you are into surfing, Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Beach is just the place to ride the waves.

Crescent Bay Point Beach and Parks has several reefs that make this park popular among scuba divers. The reefs are located on the east and west side and encompass a beautiful beach in the middle of Crescent Bay Park in Laguna Beach. Two popular reefs are Shaw’s Cove and Dead Man’s reef. And visible from the shoreline is Seal Rock, where you can view Laguna Beach’s sea lions.

Treasure Island Park offers spectacular ocean views and is a great place to have those relaxing Laguna Beach picnics. There are tide pools to visit, public art viewing, and beach access. Since the waters off Treasure Island Park are shallow, it is not as popular for diving as are other parks. However, the shallow waters make the Treasure Island Park in Laguna Beach a great place to view fish not otherwise found elsewhere.

And lastly, there is Bluebird Park in Laguna Beach. This park has a fenced playground, a basketball court and picnic tables. Bluebird is not located by or near the ocean, but it makes a great family destination for fun activities.

  • Picnics are cool and exciting. Considering the current economic situation, it is but normal to want to save money. Picnics are great way to have a staycation.. The best part about picnics is that it really does help bond a family together through spending time together outside!
